Is it possible to sit on the chair?

Yes.Please tell me “chairs” when you come here.

It’s not necessarily to sit “Seiza” proper way. You can cross legs on the floor. 

 

About Kimono

Is it possible to get refund if we late for kimono?

No. It’s impossible to refund according to the cancellation policy. If you are late for kimono wearing (20-25 min before the start time of the tea ceremony), you cannot wear kimono anymore and no refund also.
Since it’s really impossible to wear kimono in 1-2min, please come 20min before the start time of the tea ceremony.(except we asked to come before 5-10min before in case the number of the customer is few)

 

Is it possible to go outside wearing kimono after/before the tea ceremony for few hours?

No. Kimono wearing  for Tea Ceremony Koto is the “option” of the tea ceremony.

I’m sorry if you would like to take many photos before/ after the tea ceremony, I recommend you to go to Kimono rental shop instead.

Is it possible to join free just for taking photo of my friends/ family?

No, I’m sorry but tea ceremony experience is not only eating or drinking but “watching, listening to the explanations” are also included.
So just for photos or watching means you need to pay the fee to join.

 

Is it possible to change time later or tomorrow because we are late for today’s reservation?

It’s impossible and no refund according to the cancellation policy.

Even you find some seats the day after, you cannot take it for free anymore.

If you would like to come the day after, please pay again for the seat of the next day.

I’m sorry I don’t have an own parking, but there are many parking near here owned by Kinkakuji temple.
