Why we wear kimono in the tea ceremony lesson?
I know guests in Tea Ceremony KOTO are looking forward to taking photos wearing kimono here,
but actually, the authentic meaning of wearing kimono in the tea ceremony is not for photos.
Most tea ceremony room in Japan doesn’t allow taking photos to maintain the atomosphere.
The reason to wear kimono is…
To maintain the authentic atomosphere in the tea room, and to learn the efficient movements in the traditional way.
Kimono “option” in Tea Ceremony KOTO
★It’s only for inside the tea room during the tea ceremony lesson. You can’t go outside.
★Hair sets are NOT INCLUDED.
★Since here is the tea ceremony lesson, you don’t have much time to take many many photos.
