Design Week Kyoto 2017 ~We will support your exhibition in Kyoto~

We Tea Ceremony Koto will join the event “Design Week Kyoto 2017”, when a lot of craft men open their working spaces for tourists or people who are interested in their precious skills.

The information center is in JR Kyoto Isetan Department store, just beside JR Kyoto station.

Design Week Kyoto 2017

Design Week Kyoto is the event which started last year in Kyoto. It is expected to be held for one week in every February.

Many crafts men in Kyoto will open their working space to show their rare skills .

It’s the precious chance to see them and find Japanese high skills. Especially, Kyoto is the main place for making Kimono textile, there are many craft men who works for kimono. To make one piece of Kimono, actually it needs many steps and people.  For each steps, we have the specialist.

In this event, Design Week Kyoto, not only kimono artists or craft men, but also many other craft men will open their houses.

京都観光について考える会

Koto culture salon is traditional tatami room in Japanese old house.

You can use this space for some workshops, meetings, and the small exhibition.

It’s not the space for Rent, but the owner of Tea Ceremony Koto will support what you would like to do.

For example,

☑You would like to have the meeting in Kyoto near Golden pavilion

☑You would like to have the unique event with Japanese tea ceremony or matcha tea.
